           Born on 15 October 1931 in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu, Avval Fakir Jaunul Abidine Abdul Kalam, graduated in Science at St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli in 1954. Afterwards, higher education in Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology in 1957. 

1. Abdul Kalam led the India's first satellite launch carrier (SLV III), who landed Rohini satellite to Earth. Entry to India for Space Club.

2. After serving in ISRO for nearly 2 decades, Abdul Kalam took over the responsibility of modern missile development at DRDO (Defense Research and Development Oragnisataion)


3. Abdul Kalam, one who developed and implemented Agni and Prithvi missiles.

4. Nuclear power was limited to only 5 countries [America, Russia, England, China and France]. 

5. India has demonstrated its nuclear potential globally by conducting Pokhran-II nuclear tests. Abdul Kalam is behind this test!

6. The film "Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran" by John Abraham, produced in 2018, is inspired by Abdul Kalam.
